There is definitely a convenience to bottled water.  You can take it with you wherever you go (except the security line at the airport) and when you’re done you can throw the bottle into the recycle bin and you don’t have any dishes to do.  Maybe it’s this convenience combined with the clever marketing around the health or safety benefits of bottled water that so many people prefer drinking bottled water to water from the tap.  But this convenience is creating some big problems…
